The Trek is strenuous, crossing eleven passes, three of which are well over 5,000 meters. This is the trip of lifetime for walkers, like you who dream of a major expedition in the style of the first foreign explorers to the Himalaya. We hike, beneath sky-piercing peaks, like Mt. Gangkar Puensum, the most scared mountain in Bhutan and through the heart of one of nature’s most spectacular mountainous landscapes, past turquoise lakes and remote highlands yak herder’s village. This trek ranks among the most challenging anywhere and takes you through remote areas of Bhutan that few travelers- and even few Bhutanese ever see.
