Sorwa Bhutan Travel’s Terms and Conditions
DEPOSIT
A deposit is required to begin the booking process or to hold any tentative reservation on a confirmed basis.
- US$ 300 per person for trip as a Security deposits and rest you can transfer before pre-trip
In cases when we (such as airline, cruise and hotel) impose a non-refundable deposit (especially during peak travel season such as Tshechu), Sorwa Bhutan Travels would endeavor to inform such conditions before beginning the booking process. The deposit amount requirement would be informed duly and supersede the amount outlined above.
In the event Sorwa Bhutan Travels fail to confirm your trip, we would suggest alternatives for your consideration. If the alternatives are rejected, the deposit would be fully refunded.
FINAL PAYMENT
Once the trip is confirmed, an invoice will be sent stating the final payment due date. It is the responsibility of the client to make sure that Sorwa Bhutan Travels receive the payment by the due date, failure of which may render the forfeiture of the deposit.
CHANGES TO TRIP
If you wish to alter your booking we will do our utmost to make such changes but it may not always be possible to make these changes particularly close to the departure date. Certain changes may not be made or accepted within 30 days of the tour departure date and may impose a cancellation charge of up to 100% of that part of the arrangement.
For any changes made, Sorwa Bhutan Travels reserve the right to charge an administrative fee ranging from US$50-US$150 per booking depending on the magnitude of the change and any further charge to cover any costs and fees we incur.
CANCELLATION CHARGES AND REFUND
Any cancellation of bookings is to be made in writing.
Deposits are refundable less US$250/- per person service fee until 60 days prior to departure. Within 60 days of departure, deposits are non-refundable and the following cancellation charges shall apply
31–60 days before departure: 25% of tour costs
15–30 days before departure: 50% of tour costs
8-14 days before departure : 75% of tour costs
Less than 7 days before departure: 100% of tour costs
In instance when we have a strict cancellation charges (especially during peak season), Sorwa Bhutan Travels reserve the right to impose charges. Such conditions would be communicated in the course of the booking process.
All refund will be expedited but may take 2 to 5 months to process according to some airlines and overseas administrative procedures.
After the tour has started, no refund will be made for any services unutilized.
TOUR PRICE
Sorwa Bhutan Travels tries its utmost to keep to the package price; however, tour price is subject to increase that is outside Sorwa Bhutan Travels’ control.
PASSPORT AND VISA
It is the responsibility of the participant to make sure that he/she has the relevant travel documents – valid passport, visas, work permits, health certificate and etc.
RESPONSIBILITY AND LIABILITIES
Sorwa Bhutan Travels assume no responsibility for injury, illness, damage, accident, loss, delay, death or irregularities that may be caused to person or properties. Clients are to understand all inherent risks of overseas travel, trekking and touring.
Sorwa Bhutan Travels are to be released from all liabilities deriving from acts of terrorism, hijacking, civil unrest, natural calamities, labor strikes, thefts or any other factors beyond the company’s control.
Sorwa Bhutan Travels reserves the right to alter or modify itineraries in anyway for the interests of tour members or due to any other uncontrollable circumstances such as weather or other local conditions.
In the event of cancellation due to uncontrollable circumstances (such as weather, transport strike, political unrest and war), the clients shall bear any cost incurred during the processing of the tour.
