Reservation and Booking
If you are planning a first time trip, use online trip planning form to book a trip to Bhutan. You must complete and submit a trip reservation form with US$300 as a security deposit. Book as possible in advance, but don’t hesitate to contact us if you want to join the trip at the last minute.
Pre-trip information
We will send you a trip confirmation and customized trip itinerary and general information needed to prepare and organize a trip to Bhutan upon receipt of your security deposit US$300 per person and remaining trip payment which may be transferred to our account through the Citibank or Standard Chartered Bank Ltd from any other international bank in your area/country.
Airline ticketing and access to Bhutan
We will book a Druk Air seat for you as soon as we confirm your reservation. We will buy and email you the e-ticket after you send us the payment. For more details, Check out Druk Air website – http://www.drukair.com.bt
The best way to enter Bhutan is by Druk Air, the national airline, which connects Bhutan’s only airport in the Paro Valley with flights to:
- Bangkok (4 times a week)
- Delhi (twice a week)
- Katmandu (twice a week)
- Dhaka (once a week)
- Calcutta (twice a week)
You can also enter and exit Phuntsholing on the southern boarder of the country overland from Indian cities of Sikkim, Kalimpong, Darjeeling, Siliguri or Gauwahati using Bagdogra or Guwahati domestic airport in West Bengal (India).
You will need to take care international plane ticket in any of the gateway cities that you choose to connect to Druk Air, stopover hotel room, travel insurance and other related arrangements.
- Bangkok is the best place to connect if you are coming from North America, Australia or Asia.
- Delhi is the best place to connect if you are coming from Europe or the Middle East.
- A connection via Kathmandu will give you an opportunity to visit Nepal before flying to Bhutan.
- A connection from Dhaka (Bangladesh) and Calcutta (India) are possible, but these are off the routes of direct flights for major airlines and few discounted airfares are available for these places.
As most travelers like to use or book air tickets and hotel room through their preferred agents or internet sites, we leave International air ticketing and hotel room booking up to the guests to arrange on their own.
