Kharbandi Goenpa is a 20th century scared monastery was founded by the Late Royal Grand Mother, Ashi Phuntsho Choden. From the monastery, there is a fascinating view of Phuntsholing town and the surrounding plains. If you visit by overland this monastery is the best place to start your sightseeing.

Zangto Pelri

A small three storied temple built in the centre of the town represents heaven of Guru Rinpoche. Inside the temple, there are very detail and beautiful paintings. Lot of authentic people comes to offer prayers and butter lamps.
